Dating Ultrasound
> 6 weeks
If your doctor has requested a pregnancy dating ultrasound we request that you have a full bladder before your appointment.
It is recommended to empty the
bladder one hour prior to your appointment, and drink one litre from emptying.
Baby Reassurance Heart Beat Scan - from 8+ weeks
We are now doing Reassurance baby heart beat scans. This is a bonding experience designed for a little piece of mind.
It can be performed from 8 - 14 weeks gestation where you will hear and see the baby's heart beat.
No referral necessary. This is an elective and non-diagnostic scan.
Cost: $50.00
12-13 week nuchal translucency scan
If your doctor has requested a
12-13 week pregnancy ultrasound
we request that you have a full
bladder before your appointment.
It is recommended to empty the
bladder one hour prior to your appointment, and drink one litre
from emptying.

Abdomen Ultrasound
If your doctor has requested an abdomen or upper abdomen ultrasound it is required for you to fast 6-8 hours prior to your appointment.
No food, no coffee, no smoking. Medication is able to be taken with a small amount of water. This is to help the sonographer visualise everything required on this routine scan withoutthe involvement of added bowel.
3D Baby Ultrasound

3D Baby Ultrasound scans are now available.
Aortic / Bilateral Leg Arteries Ultrasound
If your doctor has requested an
aortic or bilateral leg arteries ultrasound it is required for you
to fast 6-8 hours prior to your appointment.
Pelvic Ultrasound
If your doctor has requested a
pelvic ultrasound we request that
you have a full bladder before your appointment.
It is recommended to empty the bladder one hour prior to your appointment and drink one litre
from emptying.
Renal Ultrasound
If your doctor has requested a
renal ultrasound we request that you have a full bladder before your appointment.
It is recommended to empty the bladder one hour prior to your appointment and drink one litre
from emptying.
Note: At times, your doctor may advise for a trans-vaginal ultrasound to be performed.
We sterilize the ultrasound camera after each use to ensure the upmost of hygiene and safe practices are upheld and performed.
